Don't Drink the Koolaid!

And those who speak with conviction of their spiritual righteousness exhibit a spiritual pride in that they alone know the truth. They seek out others who are also spiritually prideful to gain validity to their fringe beliefs. These people attempt to coerce others; to persuade them to believe as they do – because their beliefs are the only true and correct way to think. This constant barrage of a singular narrative becomes a pattern of indoctrination and thus, an unwilling (or unwitting) acceptance of these conspiratorial beliefs by those who are exposed to it. These people in turn become pawns in an occult chess game; a chess game that can only be won by attrition and not by independent thinking. If the unsuspecting pawns peeked behind the curtain of half-truths and obvious disinformation, they would surely see a questionable belief pattern. However, spiritual pride blinds the orator to common sense deductions and reasoning. It is the enemy at work! It also seems that the more preposterous or outrageous the explanation, the more accepted it is. On the other hand, if the false narrative of the spiritually prideful causes others to stumble, it has the same effect of false prophecy and those deceived by the false prophet are akin to innocent children. The question of what happens to those who cause children to stumble is answered by Jesus in Matthew 18:6,7 - “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come!”
